Thanks for the strong encouragement to engage with backers.
I am wondering how you start off the conversation. Is it with the thank you for backing? What does that look conversation usually look like?

@threepixelheart - It's a good idea to send a message to each new backer if you have the bandwith (some campaigns just have too many backers that it's not practical). This way, if they ever decide to withdraw their pledge, you can also ask them why.
