Hey guys,

I've been working on this idea for a little while now, I thought I'd do a small soft launch to gauge interest in it. The whole design intent was to re-imagine the piggy bank without going too "hi tech". I call them Piggy Blox, just a simple, premium and all metal, minimalist and designer piggy bank for kids and adults. Features include:

- All metal aluminum design, die cast
- They're stackable with interlocking geometry
- Tops have a coin tray
- Little ports to see how much is saved
- Includes label for further customization, drawing, txt etc. "bike savings", "rainy day fund", "trip fund" etc.
- Can hold hundreds of dollars depending on the coin 1$, 2$ Toonie, loonie or euro.
- They looks bad ass, cool colors, super durable

I 3D printed and finished some rough prototypes, next will be CNC machined, the final product would be die cast. I made a few updates, like being able sketch on them, I need to update some of my pictures. The Models I made were in 3 parts also, the CNC prototypes will be 3 parts. The final die cast versions would be just two parts, 4 long screws.

Not really, just figuring out if there is interest. Why is this something that would interest you?

Wow is this still going to be made? We spoke quite a few times before (Giles / GiftsandCoups)...so wondering if you've been collecting emails of people who are interested in this potential project.

Nope, havn't received one e-mail . That's from posting it on thunderclap and from that landing page linked to a mail chimp list .

Hey Jonathan, How are you doing today?

Even though you haven't gauged much interest thus far, are you still considering crowdfunding the project? I think they look great and I am sure you will sell alot of them whichever way you end up going.
