Mine's off to a slow start too.

I've been exploring the wonderful world of twitter and am just about to launch into blog communications with the relevant group. I might take a sneak peek at reddit too after reading this.

My thanks for the tips. And lots and lots of good luck and merry wishes to everyone! x

I'm off to a slow start as well. Unfortunately I work in marketing, so I'm worried I may have exhausted all my options? However, here are some suggestions for others:

    1. Paid advertising
    2. Network with family and friends
    3. Network in groups that have similar interests - meetup.com is helpful
    4. Submit your press release to free press sites, or PRweb if you go with paid
    5. Post on the many websites/Twitter accuounts/FB pages made to help those promoting their kickstarter campaign
    6. Post quality content and graphics on all social media accounts and websites
    7. Send out pitches to local or national media in publications/websites/blogs of similar interests

    Hi,

Did you try personally asking your family and friend to pledge. I am launching my campaign soon I emailed a over 1000 bloggers but 3 of them agreed to feature my campaign on their blog. It was a lot of work but at least I am getting some exposure as a result.

So my suggestion is to reach to bloggers within your industry and kindly ask them to feature your campaign in exchange for a free rewards.
    Hope it helps/

I just launched 2 days ago. Doing well so far- 36% funded. I had the same issue with Facebook ads. They worked great for likes and engagement, but not so well for converting into backers. I have 1030 followers on FB and I think only 3-4 of them actually purchased a bag so far.

Now, I need to network in different ways and work on press. Any suggestions there would be great! I just learned about HARO- Help a Report Out. If you do not know about this, google it. Could be an opportunity for free press.

Yea HARO is a great tool for getting indirect exposure and it's free. I put together some tools previously that might be helpful, but not many of them are free: http://www.crowdfundingpr.org/pr-tools- ... -campaign/

This seems like a cool game. I hate you haven't had many backers.
