I have a device that does target a small niche market.

I know how to reach this market but it requires help from large sites. Like slashdot or engadget. I have submitted news to about 40 large sites as well as hit their twitter page. I see similar articles written up but can not get any attention for mine. So far Face Book is bring in the most attention and KS searches next to that. I have also made many PR's.

Anyone have advice?

I did a podcast recently on PR that might help? Really, it's just a master of sales, hard work, building relationships, and creating relevant media lists.
