Hi take a look at a project me and some colleagues are woking on.
"Reign" was first made by students at Humber College and went on to premiere at the COMM Fest Film Festival in Toronto. It was also recognized and nominated for bringing the controversial topic of high school violence to light.
We have decided to extend it into a feature film to explore the story, the characters, and emphasize the importance of the topic.
The feature film "Reign" is a coming of age drama that follows Charlie and Brooke; close friends from completely different social worlds, who receive the news that they're failing and will have to repeat their final year of high school. As their friendship begins to deteriorate and new feelings surface for one another, both are faced with life altering decisions when Brooke suddenly becomes Charlie's worst enemy.
With the facilitation of Humber College in their Feature Film Development class; an elective course offered to students in their graduating year. The script has been reviewed and workshopped by various industry professionals, faculty members, and story editors including Maureen Dorey. We are all excited to get going.
