Hi, I am launching my first project so I am sure i will make lots of mistakes but still i am really happy trying to do something useful.

My project is oriented to kids. I am observing that kids play with tablets, smartphones etc but they don't know how internet works (for example) but what worries me is that parents also doesn't know how it works.. or how to explain!
So, I thought launching a non-profit project that explain kids how technology works but using cartoons to explain that is fun for them

The idea is to collect money for creating the first chapters and upload them to youtube so every child in the world will be able to watch them at any time and totally free!

Why crowdfunding?
The project explains technology.. as technology is changing our lives and gives us new methods.. I thought that the best idea was to use this method to create the chapters!.
I am not sure if campaign will prospere but at least I explain what is crowdfunding to everyone!

What do I earn?
Headaches, problems, work a lot, and the satisfaction that new generation has the possibility to learn technology, and this factor is not based on the economical situation of his parents. I think that digital breach will be a big problem.

My initial thoughts on this, is "I don't want my kid on the internet...they can do it all they want when they're older".

Also if you're educating kids but putting the videos on an internet site like youtube, I'm not sure it's going to help if they don't know how to use the internet. Also, since you can't control the look and feel of Youtube they may be put off.

I think an app on a mobile would be best for you perhaps? All the best

Thanks for your feedback! The situation is that nowadays all kids watch cartoon on youtube. The idea is that the parents have the possibility to select this cartoons instead of other that for example are fighting or something similar.

For example for our kids we normally show them this type of cartoons:

that explains how the body works. Why don't we create the same for technology? Technology is really difficult to explain. Try to explain what is internet to a kid....

Thanks for that. But my point was you're inside Youtube which is a design you can't control or edit. The thing with youtube is that it's associated with looking at multiple videos, people with short attention spans etc.,

To get them to concentrate and learn, I think you need to put it in your own app...
