Innovative new take on the comic heroine launches

    by illxander » Sat Jan 11, 2014 1:41 am

Hi guys My name is Alex Martin out of Phoenix, AZ. I was looking for Pledges, and possibly more importantly, feedback. Its looking good so far but the erratic nature of the pledges is driving me crazy. lol

One Nat1on: Out of the Darkness is a story about the choices we make when facing adversity, and centers around a Muslim-American girl by the name of Hadiya. But while the story could very well be defined as a coming-of-age tale, please don't be misguided. Over the course of this story, Hadiya and her roommate, Eve, will also need to kick some serious ass. As far as whose ass that is, however, you'll just have to read this graphic novel to find out.

Here's the link. let me know what you think.

the most challenging thing I feel like we're battling is people not understanding when the money comes out of their account. Or the urgency of why we're telling them not to wait until payday. We're starting to see those pledged from the people we don't know creep in, but ever so slowly. The retweets are helping a lot though now that I've learned what hashtags to use.

#crowdfunding, #comics #indie #kickstarter seem to consistently garner retweets by some of these companies that seem to be dedicated solely to that. When tweeting bloggers or writers it seems to work best to mention something they can support.

Cool, thanks for sharing :). If you would like to do some kind of giveaway related to the campaign (to generate buzz), @vaporstarter and I started this new website for that purpose (http://pitchfuse.com/). It's free and we help promote your giveaway/contest. You just need to click "create contest."

it sounds like we are good on this. what we were wondering is how the giveaways work. do they correspond to the end of the campaign or is it things we have fully produced already?
