Thank goodness for technology. Our team is spread out across 3 different countries, so finding time to work together is impossible. But this is a passion project for all of us, and I feel almost like I'm working on it all the time because I find myself always thinking about it and how to improve it. It never ends!
8 to 10 hours a day. Because with art there is so much continuous correction and enhancement that goes on everyday. Besides its a very delicate and intricate process that has to be carried out very carefully and diligently. Below is a detailed view of a small patch of my leaf princess artwork.
Besides, its a continuous process of visualization and imagination of a plethora of elements you want to incorporate and capture on one single physical or digital canvas:
The leaf princess still feels so close to my heart. I am nurturing her and she is still my work in progress
I wish I could just devote 40 hours a week to it! I've been noticing my actual work is being a bit sidelined by Kickstarter, b/c the Kickstarter is just much more fun and interesting
Wow you have a wonderful project there Jess, and you have received quite some funding too. All the best with receiving the remaining minimal funding too to make this a successful campaign for you
Well it has basically become a full time job. We work on it at least six hours a day so in total about 40hrs. a week. We've been assembling e-mail lists working on our Kickstarter page/ Facebook page/Twitter etc. Staying involved is important. So far we are doing well but we need lots more if we are going to reach our goal and bring Peterson Pawpaws to the world!
