The American Elephant Project is in it's first week of a full 60 day campaign due to the size and scope. I work on it before, after and during work because I also work from home running www.thatsticker.com (currently parked on ebay since I believe that my Kickstarter is going to take up the next year and a half of my life if not the rest of my life.

It is 6:20am on Mother's day and I am exploring ways to find funders on the internet without paying someone money I can't afford to. Not too long ago, I tweeted a question that was worded something like this:
What do Walmart, Kickstarter and Reality TV have in common? Answer: 24-7 baby.

Every day I spend on my project seems to leave me looking for a few extra minutes to do just a little bit more.

Pretty much all of them at this point.

I have found that the more time you put into your project, the more successfull it will be, and the more positive the experience.

1) So I probably put in about 40-60 hours a week in the two weeks leading up to launch. Pre-launch. During the launch it is roughly the same or a little more, and then...well...a break.

I suppose it all relates back to that passion theme: since this is a passion, it really doesn't seem like all that much.

Worked for about 6 months on the products and another 3 months of putting promotional materials together.

I'm researching about crowdfunding so basically I'm 20+ hours spending on different crowdfunding platforms !

Since our Lunaluxx kickstarter project is online, I spend on average about 8 hours a day on it. also during the weekends.
Before launch it was approximately 40 hours a week.

I just launched 3 days ago and since the launch have maybe spent about 2 hours?

I am currently planning our Kickstarter campaign for The Allen Band and just the prerequisite work on social media is soaking up about 3-4 hours a day.

I wasn't a social media animal before this so I am rapidly getting up to speed on what works and doesn't.

I don't see why I would spend less time once the campaign launches - probably the opposite.

Too many to count really especially with quick social media maintenance and emails.
