The first campaign I ever backed was for a new Lifesavers album in 2011 - I found out about it from a friend's Facebook post.

It was finding out about the Out of the Grey campaign after it closed that finally got me really wound up looking for a blog or podcast to highlight campaigns for Christian music while the campaigns were still active. I never found one & didn't like simply waiting for someone to post something on Facebook & I hadn't joined mailing lists of every band I liked, so I started scouring Kickstarter and Indiegogo every couple days looking for new campaigns.
My FOMO (fear of missing out) caused me to be pretty obsessive about checking the different platforms frequently and eventually I started the podcast I'd been wanting to watch or hear. Now, all that research ends up going into a weekly podcast
