We in the Illuminati heard about it when it started disrupting the banking and loan industry that we've tried so hard to get the whole world tied to. Thanks, crowdfunding! Now we're slightly less insanely rich and have marginally less control! Sheesh!

We did an IndieGoGo campaign to help launch our company 4 years ago, we thought about Kickstarter then but we didn't have a "product that could be marketed and sold at the time. Since we are a "hands-on" learning company Covid has forced us to change our focus and we are excited to introduce our new product on Kickstarter

I draw comics and have been since 2009. I was following Jason Brubaker, who was serializing his graphic novel reMIND online, and he mentioned Kickstarter. I learned more about his campaign and the site itself; I wanted in.

Sadly it took time for me to get the hang of crowdfunding. There is a method to it and it's taken me some time to get the hang of it.

I discovered kickstarter years ago and with an old account I did pledge few times. But it's only when recently I started to dig into the real stuff that I started to understand how much it could help and offer ^^

In a non-profit association, we had created a video game distribution platform that third world developers could use for free, and our president, who wanted to help them more, said that we would use crowdfunding to push the project further.

I've known about Kickstarter for years now, but only recently became really interested in it. I'm helping my wife prep for the pre-launch of her campaign. I joined this forum to make contacts and try and learn as much as possible.
