I believe the first time I heard about it was around the time the Pebble Kickstarter blew up.

I discovered Kickstarter around 5 years ago when I started thinking about creating a new product. I have always wanted being an inventor!

I heard about kickstarter the first time when Zach Mueller dropped his first kickstarter campaign to create the blue fountaines and I loved those playing cards! Then, two ex students of my school started their kickstarter called pantera bianca, a fashion brand based in Milan.

I needed funding for my project and the first thing I thought about was launching a crowdfunding campaign, which wil begin sometime around the end of may. It is so interesting to see different stories on how they got to know about kickstarter, and amazing to see communities like these forming to help people reach their goals! this is what crowdfunding is all about!

Hello everyone! I first heard about crowdfunding when I was in high school and Gofundme was a big hit. I first heard about Kickstarter on Tumblr during high school when a fandom zine I found announced their project would be on kickstarter.

Long time ago. Board games started using crowdfunding many years ago and of course now that is one of the main ways that new board games are funded.
