Have you tried getting into your school's newspaper or alumni newsletter?

TBH my University doesn't do anything like a newpaper, I may see if they can share it online or forward it around etc though...

I think for people who don't understand your creative process as well, the photos that you posted on your Kickstarter page are extremely helpful in helping visualize exactly what you are making using green screens, etc. So I would consider continuing to use more photos to draw interest into your campaign across your various social media platforms or creating a backer update that features exclusive behind-the-scenes photos as a way to further entice people wanting to contribute to your campaign.

Yea, I would think your best bet is to ask 10-15 of your friends at university to like the post and share it to get it around the community.
