Interesting project and noble, well done. It's not for me simply because I think a paper based straw is probably the answer rather than a portable straw, I just can't see myself carrying one around, cleaning it and i'd be worried about leaving it behind. Anyway you didn't ask for a critique and I didn't mean to give one, feel free to convince me I am wrong though!

However you have done well, good initial interest and almost funded in 3 days is great going! Do you have any tips and would you like to share how you raised awareness of the campaign?
