Hey Gina,
My name is Mike and I'm in the same boat as you are. We just launched our party game Twisoticty
http://kck.st/1C8Vlwo and am having trouble showing up on Kickstarter's radar. It's like how can you possibly stand out on the site anymore when it's so bogged down by established companies or flooded with rich people projects who are just trying to get richer. Indie friendly? Not so much.
Anywho, being a guy and not knowing much about dolls I gotta say your campaign looks inviting. One thing I have learned is offering a retail pledge is typically a bad idea. If they're interested they will usually contact you, especially if you have some disclaimer in your "Risks" sections. Also, the $1 dollar pledge never hurts, because it is just a fun way to show support cheaply. I'd pledge a dollar to help boost your backer count, but 10 is a little steep since so much money is being spent on ads.
Anyway, I hope some of my info is helpful. If you want to cross-promote with me through updates I would love to work closer with you.
Sincerely,
MJ Kiely
