    Feedback before I launch!

    by UnicornStartupGame » Sun Oct 02, 2016 8:18 pm

    Hi everyone!

I’ll be launching my first Kickstarter campaign this coming Wednesday and I’m looking for some honest feedback on the campaign page. Do you understand the game as it is presented? Is anything missing? Which pledge would you choose if you were to support the campaign?

    Thanks for the feedback!

Hi Phil, Sure I'll give my honest feedback :)

Well first onto the video. It looks like something you bought from Fiverr, so instead of showing people interacting with the game, having fun and showing how it works - there's this generic template of things zooming in and out. Really you should invest in a better video.
    - Also on the video, I'm sorry but the woman doing the voice over is hard to understand and I can't put my finger on why it's difficult, it could be her accent or that she's trying too hard. When she say "two" at the end and "This offer is for a limited time"...sounds weird.

The campaign page is confusing, it's a board game? If so list in the title and description. The Doggy Drone titles and others are names of businesses? But it's not apparent until you scroll down the page.

If you think of people entering a page how no idea what you're doing, no notion what terms and titles mean, it shouldn't surprise (or confuse) them when they see titles they don't know about.

There's quite alot of images. I think the most import are people playing the game, if you could add more - it'll help.

When I ran your draft on our Hyperstarter site, you got 40/100 - so there's alot to improve.

If you want my help (or to be involved in this campaign), feel free to get in touch.
