    Deutz Allis 917H Garden Tractor

    by rubyarcox » Sun May 01, 2022 10:26 am

I used this for years to cut my yard. It ran when parked but there was a significant amount of blow by in the engine. It is a 17hp Kohler so parts are readily available. It has a 48" deck with a few small holes in it. The tractor is hydrostaticly controlled. It a HEAVY tractor. I had plans to fix it back up and use it again but haven't had time. I don't have the heart to put it outside and want the space back in my shop. $450 obo. Will trade for something cool (tools, guns, jeep parts, etc) I could also help with local delivery. Someone must need a new project.

I understand you very much, since I have been looking for a tractor with similar parameters for a long time too. But when I was founding them, there were 2 options: either it was good in all options but expensive, or vice versa. As a result, the best that I found according to these parameters, where there are both good price and quality is kubota m5111 from machinerydealer.co.uk. It has 40 horsepower, I don't remember exactly how much, but about 2000 pounds of lifting capacity. For planting areas, this shall be perfect choice because it is also relatively small in size, which makes it convenient to pass through not very large fields.
