Just saw this new project:

This is the first App I have seen raise anything at all. Usually they don't raise anything (since they are software not a physical product). Very interesting to see such a product become popular.

I really hope more and more software products start getting crowdfunded. I have tons of app ideas and kickstarter would be a great avenue for this.
