I’d like to talk you about our newborn, here at EGA, Mercantia Italy – 1252. Mercantia is our new level-based strategy game for tablets and smartphones. On November 2, we launched the Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign that will end on December 31.
For those who don’t know us, Entertainment Game Apps, has already a success story behind her back on Kickstarter: Prosperity Italy - 1434, our first game, earned more than $ 30.000 last year. Mercantia is a prequel of Prosperity with a completely different gameplay.
Players will have to travel alongside the famous trade routes of the eight maritime republics of Amalfi, Genoa, Pisa, Venice, Ancona, Gaeta, Noli and Ragusa, proceed through 60 different levels, explore 200 cities to find the right craftsmen and raw materials to create the most beautiful and perfect artifacts of the world. All of this with a limited amount of florins, time and defying bandits and pirates ravaging the commercial routes!
