Pocket sized magnetic imaging - didn't go anywhere.

With concussions being such a hot topic right now this new project stuck out to me:. The product is called BrainShield:

With all the new research showing rotation/twisting is one of the key factors behind concussions, it is kind of scary that helmets don't do anything for rotation. I saw this project on Gizmodo, Gizmag and Slashgear. Its a spin-off company from Simon Fraser University.

These campaigns are over, but I backed a Save the Icelandic Goat From Extinction (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/save ... 016#/story) and the Veronica Mars movie (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/55 ... ie-project) and then a few projects of friends and family. I thoroughly enjoyed it and felt like I was a part of something for doing it.

I have mainly purchased gadgets. The last one backed was a bullet size LED flashlight. Did you all see this product? Cool idea.

I've only ever backed one thing. A Halo Fan Film when I was 16. At the time it looked super cool. They met their funding in the end but didn't complete it until last year. I gave them kudos for the effort, but was unfortunately not impressed.

I backed VENOM Assault. Another fun good vs. evil card game.

After talking the games creator for a while I ended up back his game Get Adler! it sounds like a fun fast paced game of deduction which is great for my group. We like the games like this because they are easy to learn, setup and play. check it out!

My favorite project so far has been The Bradley Watch. The only issue I had was that they claimed it was water proof and it ended up not being. They replaced it for me twice for free before they told me not to wear it in the water. It's a beautiful watch!

I think the coolest project I've ever backed has been the Pebble smartwatch. I had never heard of the idea of a smart watch before I learned about Pebble and now they're not only doing fantastically well with their ecosystem and apps, I've backed their second generation and have been quite pleased with it as well. Many projects seem to fade into nothingness after they finish, but not Pebble. Many people, myself included, still like the Pebble better than the Apple Watch.
