Good project
High-Precision 3D Scanning on you smarphone.
A smartphone 3D Scanner is the new sensation on Kickstarter. It gathered over 580 000$ financed by more than 1300 investors.
Eora 3D is the australian company launching this system that contains a Scanner, a turnable, an app and a phone. The system allow you to scan everyday physical objects to turn them into high quality 3D models.
What struck me immediately is how affordable the system it is compared to their competitors. Besides, this system proves that we are one step closer to a new revolution. People tend to take lot of pictures. Snapchat-Instagram-facebook are the leaders of this revolution and Eora 3D embrace the change. 3D Pictures are welcomed with open arms and it’s a project that i would be happy to be a part of it.
Bad project
iChristmas in Paris : The streets, the people, the markets.
This project is in shape contrast with the high precision 3d system. I can’t find anything new, innovative in this project.
The inventor’s idea is to create a book that vows at showing Paris in its very single aspects. Aspects that supposedly no one have ever seen. In deed, every one with an iphone is capable of doing it. At the moment the project collected no money and it’s a tangible proof that it won’t be concretized.
