i will back something which is useful and cheap. not just cool.

i only want to back something new and innovative. There are allot of projects that are repeats and only change small aspects.

I would be interested in innovative design that helps a persons day to day life.
From the smallest keyring which helps you find your phone to teaching a child early stages of computer engineering.
On other occasions design which has a powerful ethical approach. I am currently backing a jewellery designer who proposes to use miscellaneous finds around the world to turn into jewellery.

I'm a big sucker for do-good projects. Those are usually the type of projects I will back without knowing the campaign owners.

However, and this is a big HOWEVER. i will back a campaign if it makes me laugh or solves a pain point. As a rule I just cruise the crowdfunding sites and may back projects that catch my attention.

As an example this campaign caught my attention today. Today I voted and the guy in front of me was yapping away on his phone, having a conversation on what appeared to be about absolutely NOTHING. The poll workers said nothing to him. I was tapping my feet and doing the frown-smile.

It's during such a time that I wish I had something what's offered in crowding funding campaign. See link below.

I back projects that touch me on an emotional level or things that make me say, whoa. I like that we are able to spread happiness like this.

I'm into technology that makes life more convenient.

Pretty much anything I've never seen before, OR something I use everyday, thats just made better.

Does anyone back novels at all? I know some have had success, but mine seems to be struggling quite a bit.
