How many projects have you backed and why do you back them?

1. I have backed 3 projects thus far (I am new to the game )

2. My reason for backing has been to help creators make it past their donation minimum thresholds. I can't imagine how much of a nail biter it becomes in those last few days when you are so close to your goal, so I like to help get the creator the rest of the way!

I have backed a sustainable bag project. It is called GrappaSec Bag. This is a day-to-night backpack bag. What makes it stands out is it's made from Vegan Grape Leather. Made from grape leftovers from winemaking. It is sustainable agricultural material. So it is environment friendly, zero waste and vegan. I always support products that is beneficial to environment. I think this is a good product to be a leather alternative.

I think i've backed about 5 projects so far. All films as that's what I am interested in. First project I ever backed was on Kickstarter Hal Hartley's for his restoration for his film 'Surviving Desire' back in 2017, I believe. Last project I backed was on Indiegogo last week for a short film called 'Trigger'.

I am a filmmaker and I am currently writing an 80's Supernatural Horror TV Show called The Secret Stake Society and currently have a Kickstarter campaign active.

I’ve backed only a couple but I love the idea. I heard that people who are new to crowdfunding are a little hesitant and don’t understand that they won’t be charged if the project fails. It’s good that Kickstarter now added the little explanation to the top of the project sites.
I created a lamp that is on Kickstarter right now but I find it hard to attract people who aren’t part of the crowdfunding community yet.
