3 or 4 but usually just supporting, not actually getting a product, have been tempted by a few but the shipping costs from USA to UK put me off a bit

In the end, I like backing independent creators for many of the same reasons others do: to promote creativity, support small independent creators, and to be apart of a project start to finish.

I've backed 23 projects so far.
2. What is your most frequent reason for backing?
I typically back other comic book creators to help support their projects.

I have backed 26.

Some were friends or acquaintances and some were because they were just launched and I wanted them to feel like someone appreciated what they did and some were nearly funded and I wanted to help them get over the top.

I have backed 153 projects. Most are role-playing games and I back them because I really enjoy RPGs. Some I back to help a clearly new creator. Others I back because I bump into something random (like someone publishing his dad's WW2 diary) that is super cool and I want to be a part of it.

10! I've backed projects for a variety of reasons. Generally it's because it's a product I'd like to use!

Why? Cause they were cool comics I could not order anywhere else

My main reasons for backing are

The discription captures me
Its a friends project or one recommended by a friend
its something different

The second was an expansion to a boardgame that I already had.
