We're only 8 days away from the campaign's end and we're at 80% funding! Please see the story and help spread the word. - This is my 9th Kickstarter, and the fourth to feature our 3d-printable doll: Quin's storyline. I hope you get a kick out of the campaign. Would be glad to answer any question about how we've developed over our 2.5 years on Kickstarter. It's been a wild ride.

One of the 3 monsters...

Hi, wow 9 campaigns! Probably my question would be - how long did it take to build up a contacts list and which single contact helped you the most (in terms of getting backers!)

Looking over the campaign page, to be honest - I was confused. All the talk of monsters and weights, was a bit like a fantasy land - I wasn't sure what was real and not real.

There was alot of text and the photos showed 3D imagery of something that looked like it came from a Kinder Egg (harsh, sorry!).

However, when I scrolled down to the bottom - wow amazing!

I'm not sure if that's the final result of things to buy on each tier, but I was impressed!

Surely, you could put those images at the top of the campaign, then work your way down explaining how they were made?

You have a lot of good points... Anytime we do one of these fantasy themed campaigns it can be tough to convey the story while also painting a picture of the 3D Printed results. ...So I'll be doing some rearranging to try and increase backing. - Thanks for your input on it!

And thanks for the props on the 9th campaign. We do work hard to release Kickstarters quarterly and it's generally used to drive traffic to the main site (3DKitbash.com) and keep interest up within the 3D printing community. It's so easy to sink below the surface of what's relevant and interesting... The thought of being hard to find on the internet can even keep me awake at night.

As for a single source that has helped us with contacts... I'd say that from day 1 (3 years ago) we always took Twitter (@3DKitbash) very seriously and built up an organic community there that we then utilized when launching our first communities. ...And when I say serious we took it serious, I mean to say that we've paid people from that early start to make sure our twitter feed had new and relevant material at least 3 times per day, everyday.

Cool. I had a look at who you're following on Twitter, seems mostly 3D print news and some competitors - which makes alot of sense.

Not sure what else I can suggest if you're already going to follow my previous comments
